Espeakup and Speech-Dispatcher-git--Fighting again?

Are you running the espeakup-git package from the AUR?  Or are you
running the espeakup package from the community repo?  I can reproduce
your issue here quite reliably with espeakup-git, but I cannot reproduce
it at all with espeakup from community.

BTW there is a way to pass environment variables to espeakup with the
EnvironmentFile directive in the systemd service.  The systemd service
for espeakup-git uses that directive; the one for espeakup does not.
