If it is a zip file, perhaps I can access it for you.
That is if it is not too large to send me.
If you wish, you could send it to me to see if I can access it for you.
Glenn

Subject: linux help

hi.
well a couple of months back on my windows vistamachine.
did a system restore.
well it corrupted my hard disk on my toshiba a300 satellite psag4alaptop.
it has 2 gb ram, 2.1 ghz processor, 250 gb hard disk.
and had to get sighted assistance from my dad.
well you can set it back to recovery mode.
which basically wipes the drive and sets it back to factory default.
well even if i wanted to backup.
could not even boot into windows.
now got my self a western digital 1 tb external drive.
now lost my college projects.
did have them back up to a 2 gb flash drive, but the zip file was corrupted.
and now.
tried a few recovery software titles.
and either not accessible.
or to save the files for one software package, had to purchase a licence.
well do not have a credit card.
well some one gave me the magic 4.9 site to download and then instructions
to burn to a cd, but need help.
when i unzipped the iso zip image, and extracted it.
there were a few sub folders.
where is the iso image to burn.
and now.
will speak up work with the magic linux operating system and you boot from
the cd.
and a program i need to use is test disk.
can any one help me.
first time linux user.
need to try to recover my college projects if possible.
they are the most important files.
to show what projects i have done for future reference.
well used my computer a lot, installing uninstalling and general use.
so if any one has had the same predicament as me, and is blind.
well how did they recover their lost data.
please be gentle with me.
first time user.
so how to burn the iso image, then how to use it, and how to use the linux
screen reader with this.
unless some one could help me, who is tech savy and had the same
predicament.
and maybe could login into my machine remotely.
maybe some one in asia or australia.
i live in Devonport, Tasmania, Australia and time zone gmt + 10 eastern
australia.
let me know asap.
if any one can help.
Marvin.
