advice needed, Verizon DSL

I would not use their router if they use one on dsl, but connect your
Linux box to their DSL modem and use it directly -- their install
needs Windows, but you don't really need it.  Officially they don't
support Linux, but if you know what you are doing, it works.  It uses
pppoe if I remember correctly .
