If you got the no's in question when running ./configure, then that's
fine, especially if you get an executable at the end.

Some software can be uninstalled by running "make uninstall", or some
such command. I don't know if yasr's Makefile has this option or
not. To comment on another one of your questions in one of your other
posts, if your mac doesn't have native serial ports, and I mean serial
as in rs232, not as in usb, then you don't care what the designation
for your usb ports is. You'll care what the designation is for your
rs232 port, once you get a usb to serial converter, as another lister said
you'll need to do. I don't have a mac, so the only comment I can make
here is that if your mac doesn't have a native rs232 port, you'll need
to get a usb to serial converter if you expect to use your external
doubletalk with your mac.

You must be very proficient in typing on your iPhone, I honestly
wouldn't know the difference, especially given that some people type
on their pc keyboards as if they were typing on a handheld device, if
not worse.
