Speakup and Linux 2.6.24 - Almost Got It Working

Hi Rob: That's pretty strange for sure.  Have you compiled kernels
before?  Once it gets to the login prompt does the keyboard work
correctly?  It almost sounds like you have the wrong keyboard compiled
in that's why I am asking the first two questions.
