Errors and crashing

I'd say it's more likely to be a hardware problem, then a software
one.
I don't know how fedora names its log files, but /var/log/kernel.log,
/var/log/messages.log, /var/log/syslog, and /var/log/dmesg.log (if you have that),
should help in figuring out what's happening. You should also be prepared
for the fact that the indicator of a crash might not be found in log
files. My former server for example had a motherboard which
progressively got worse and worse, and there was never any evidence in
the logs that a lock-up/crash had ever happened. Again, just looking
around in /var/log is your best bet. Good luck.
