Errors and crashing

Hey guys,

I am running fc5 on my box right now, and about every 36 hours It locks and
I have to do a hard reset, power off, power on.

What logs can I look at to see if there is any information about a lock or
crash .

Its pretty bad.  I can't get someone to look at my screen.

I hope someone can help.

I am about to install fc6 test3, but I would like to find out if it is a
software problem or a hardware problem.
