Why is Virtualization needed for the installation to be successful in FC6?

Hello,

Does anyone know why virtualization AKA Xen is needed for the speakup
modified installation of FC6?

I've tried it without selecting Xen and it works fine.  

I notice the ISO's were updated on the 28th.  Any chance this problem has
been fixed?
