RAID and SATA

Though with software raid I find you loose some performance.  I have a 
2-disk raid0 of 18gb 10k drives on a compaq SmartArray controler and 
it definitely outperforms any equivilent software raid I've used.

Eh, that's it, I guess.  No 300 million dollar unveiling event for this
kernel, I'm afraid, but you're still supposed to think of this as the
"happening of the century" (at least until the next kernel comes along).
