apple's screen reader (was New Linux PDA For Blind People)

I'm just curious but why does the two major screen readers for
windows, not support windows media player? there is a very rich set
of features in the player and sadly jaws support a third party player
like winamp more then ist does the one built in for windows. do you
not find that odd?
