You also want to see what kind of equipment they'll give you.  My dsl provider
gives me an adsl gateway with a built-in dhcp server and ethernet switch for
example.  Typically you have one line provider who provides equipment but you
can choose an isp.  So if mci is not the line provider/equipment provider, see
who is and what they give you, support and allow.
