Ah Glen; precisely the nightmare I confronted four months ago when I set up 
my vsftpd server.

Yes, there is an easy solution, and I'll post it in the next fifteen minutes 
or so. I've got to refresh my memory and look at the single line of text I 
wrote and find the file in which I wrote it.
