I took a look at arch Linux but never installed it because I don't like the way it does things. This- was a while back when they used the 2.4 kernels still. Back at that time it was easy to get speakup installed with their kernel and BRLTTY wasn't much trouble either but I don't know if things would have changed now with the 2.6 xkernels or not.
