Ircii or epic!

Yes, I tried to connect to port 6667 and it did not connect.  at times I got
connection refused, and at other times no route to host.  I believe that my
provider has the ssl active.  If I figure out how to activate the ssl on my
linux box, that may take care of this problem.  May be someone who has
experience with setting up the ssl on linux can help.
