ideas for Mozilla integration

My initial response to this thread was to cheer Igor for a
principled stand. Such stands are rare these days and usually
give way quickly to the need to "feed and clothe" as Doug has
said. And I still applaud Igor's raising the issue.

But the most penetrating thing I have heard said so far is
Kenny's comments. The Gnome/Gnopernicus folks should have done
under GPL what Matt and colleagues have done for profit, and
still could if they wanted to.

I am also amazed at the deeply conservative thread on here. I
thought I had left all that behind, but evidently not. I gather
that most of us use free software because it is like free beer,
not free speech. Too bad. The world only changes for the better
because of folks like Richard Stallman, Igor, and Kirk, to
mention just a few.

That's my glass of whine for the day.
