Hi all. Well I'm actually going to try and install the current
Freedombox public beta. However, what got me confused is that on
ftp.xfree86.org, it seems the project has actually changed it's name to
Xorg. Therefore, am I correct in assuming that Xorg/Xfree86 are the same
thing? I was also confused by the fact that the README file on the
server said that I needed to download the 7 tarballs that wre in the
directory I was in. However, when I extracted the first tarball and read
INSTALL-X.org, I was told I needed to download only 4. Also, where can
one get Metacity (I think that's what it's called)? I am assuming that I
don't need to download/build Gnome from source? Bc that's where I draw
the line. Btw, I'm not sure if anyone got any misconceptions out of my
earlier thread. I was not trying to say that Cerotech was/is doing a bad
job with their browser, bc here I am sitting here trying to make it
work. What I meant was the fact that they should consider perhaps in the
future doing somewhat of the right thing.
