Voice synthesizer question

You are correct on all points Keith. The Double Talk and Triple Talk sound
exactly the same. You would not be able to use Triple Talk with Speakup via
USB but Triple Talk does have a serial port that would allow the use of it
via the Double Talk LT driver with Speakup. Triple Talk is engineered and
manufactured by Access Solutions. Their web address is:

I have found Triple Talk to be extremely responsive, even more so than
Double Talk.

It's my understanding that the Triple Talk is the USB version of
the Double talk, using the same proprietary software burned onto
an EPROM and packaged for you to purchase. Sorry, couldn't resist
another chance to make a point. What I just said was that they
both use the same chipset, so I don't beleive that they would
sound any different. Unless the interface to the USB somehow
changes the way it sounds, but I doubt it.
