Voice synthesizer question

Disclaimer:  I've neither seen nor heard a tripletalk.

I'm guessing that the tripletalk uses the same speech chip as the
doubletalk, i.e. the one from RC systems.  The Tripletalk comes in two
flavours, a PCI card and a USB device.  I'm almost certain there's no
direct Speakup support for either device, not helped by the manufacturers
(whose name I can't remember).  I do vaguely recall someone getting a USB
Tripletalk to work with a USB to Serial adaptor.
