I'm constantly upgrading mplayer.. I run the development releases, cvs
snapshots. At the moment I'm using version
MPlayer CVS-021008-06:00-2.95.4 (C) 2000-2002 Arpad Gereoffy (see DOCS)

This is the complete output of one of the streams, when I tried using sdl
audio output which works just fine, because I made sure I had sdl libraries
installed and working when I compiled mplayer.

# mplayer -ao sdl http://audio.musicradio.com/BroadlandFM.asx

And it stops after about 1-2 seconds of audio to catchup the cached data
stream or something, then it goes on playing just fine.
