speakup not in Debian was Re: 8.0 problems.

Hi.  Speakup is a set of kernel patches.  Emacspeak is a program running
under emacs.  Also, speakup is a screen reader while emacspeak is a
desktop.  The author of emacspeak makes this point very clear in his
docs.  For kernel patches to be included in Debian, it will have to work
on all the systems Debian supports.  Do you know how we could put a
doubletalk into an IBM main frame?
