problem with the woody floppies

I just tried out the woody rescue and root floppies on an i586 laptop and
after the kernel decompresses from the disk the system reboots. I have
observed this before when a kernel is compiled for i686 or greater. If
you could redo the boot disks for i386 they will work on anything faster
than that. I would be happy to make the images, but my attempts always
hang immediately after the line that says busybox. Just a suggestion.
Thanks.
