Sound interference when using speakup.

I have done this, and even used insmod to load the OSS compatibility
modules, and although everything seems to check out, the devices exist, I
get a no such device error when trying to play sounds, any sounds, even
using cat to redirect a sound to /dev/audio or /dev/dsp.
