New to LINUX

Windows was the first os I sat down and truly learned, and I've found it
vary easy. However, it's that power that windows lacks that I'm trying to
find in linux.
Well, I'm not much of a traveler, or I probably would have gone to some
place like Iowa or Minnesota.
