keymaps

Hi:

The reason why keymaps aren't straight forward is the insert key and using
it as a modifier. What Kirk has done is to borrow from the alt keys. In
linux, the left and right alt keys are normally different beings. Under
normal configuration, only the left alt can be used for switching consoles,
etc. However, what Kirk has done is to change things so that the right alt
key mirrors the left alt key, and the insert key is now the new right alt
key, if you follow..

I'm sure a person in the know would be able to whip up a UK keymap. Maybe
one could dif the US standard and speakup keymaps and then apply that diff
to the UK map? hmmm, well it's a thought.

Geoff.
