hi kirk and all,
i am wondering why it is necessary to have a keymap for speakup. couldn't you just have some sort of config file that added the numpad speech keys over the standard keyboard map so that the speech map was checked then the standard map? i say because i hate not being able to use a uk keyboard map. yes, i know there's a tutorial, but even with this help i couldn't do it!
anyway, any help appreciated.
