missing modules.dep file

Hi Chuck: This doesn't have anything to do with speakup. Usually
make modules_install does a depmod -a which builds the modules.dep
file. My guess is that you possibly ran make modules_install as a
non-root user in which case it may not have been able to create the
file. If you were root then I would run depmod -a by hand and see
what it tells you. As a point of interrest those errors won't keep
the new kernel from booting. They eventually stop. 'grin' You won't
have any modules available of course.
