Need help saving kernel after a make menuconfig

And to add on to the comments below, you may want to save the .config
file that is generated for safe keep by copying it to a config file
under a different name and probably save it in your home directory.
This way if you do another kernel compile or upgrade, all you need to
do is copy that config file back into the kernel source directory and
name it .config; then just do a 'make oldconfig' to reconfigure the
new kernel and you won't have to re do all those choices from before.
