moving by word in emacs

Hi all.

This is a very simple question, but I haven't been able to find an
answer to it. Is there a way to move by word in emacs? So far, I am
limited to either using ctrl+s to search for text close to where I
want to get to, or to move line by line, and then use left/right arrow
to move by character.
