Hi all.

One of the things I greatly miss about trplayer, is the ability to
pause, skip to the end with the end key on the six-pack, and use left
arrow to skip back to a place close to the end of a file.

Unfortunately, when a file is paused in mplayer, hitting any key
automatically unpauses the file, and what is worse is that mplayer
automatically exits at the end of a file, unlike trplayer.

So my question is, has anyone discovered a way to first go to the end
of a file, and then skip back to a spot in mplayer? Thanks in
advance.

Greg
