Hi all. i was running Cdparanoia on my server machine (Athlon XP3200-2.2 GHZ, 1 GB PC3200 DDRRAM), and I figured I'd also run Top to check on memory usage stats. To my shock, I discovered that
memory usage was steadily climbing...Until all available RAM was used. I've never had this problem on any other machine. I also run Synchronet, which is a pretty memory-intesnsive program as
well...However, with Synchronet and all my other processes that are currently running...Usage is hovering somewhere in the 630 MB range currently...Which isn't all that bad. However, any ideas
as to why I would experience such a memory leak? I'm also running kernel-2.6.6 if that helps any...Which in this situation I think it might.
