So far as I know, the speech enabling of both dismal and w3 and probably
other emacspeak apps was only done for redhat.  I tried installing on
slackware 8.0 with current version of emacspeak and current version of
emacs and everything just blew up with errors all over the place.  I think
rpm on slackware is there mostly for an error generator though.
