Hi Greg,
So what you are saying, is that rther than having two options, one for 
volume up and another for volume down, it should be one option for volume 
which then reacts on two different keys, e.g. left and right arrow for 
down and up respectively?
Having said left and right arrow, with speakup, one might hear space when 
the key is pressed in the application as it stands.
How would using f1 and f2 go down?

I am not saying I will change this, but if I do, I would like to 
understand what would be prefered.
