Pasting with speakup+8 leads to kernel crash

I can't reproduce this.
In DefaultKeyAssignments, pasting is assigned to inskeypad-/, did you
change the assignment? 

I tried to cut&paste, it just worked fine.  Could you try to find what
could be particular with your setup that could be making the paste
crash? (like non-ascii characters, how many characters, etc.) Otherwise
I'm afraid I can't do much about it.
