I haven't been able to get speakup working with any version of Slackware
from 13.37 on. That was using a Dectalk Express. If there is some
incantation I have missed, I would love to know it. I miss my Slackware.

How did you get the litetalk working with slackware 14? I have tried this
and i get no speech at all, i use linux speakup.synth=ltlk

am using com1 (ttyS0).

Tried with vmware and also natively by booting from the slackware dvd.
