Thanks good to hear.  I really like  what I have seen of arch so far, and would like to stick with it.

Be careful - that's outdated information. There was an article about this a while ago (I think it was n LWN). All Arch packages are signed now as a matter of policy.

I haven't used Arch but I just wanted to correct what you read in that blog post.
