AA Couple of Questions

I think he is wanting to know about moving Speakup's review cursor.
on the numbpad, Insert+7 moves the Speakup review cursor to the
beginning of the line and Insert 1 moves to the end of the line.
You should normally be able to find this information in the Speakup
user's guide at
http://linux-speakup.org/spkguide.txt.
However, it seems that the linux-speakup.org is down at the moment. You
can still read the user's guide from a mirror like this one.
http://kernel.opensuse.org/cgit/kernel/plain/drivers/staging/speakup/spkguide.txt
A more clear reference for the speakup keyboard commands can be found at
http://webpages.charter.net/newvisioncenter/henke/n8.txt
Hope this helps.

Try using the home and end keys to move to the start and end of the line. You can right shell scripts to do almost anything you want. Here in lies the difference. You use the power of the os and not the screen reader to do the tasks for you. There are some great how-to at the linux documentation project, tldp.org that will teach you all you need to take that next step.

First, is there a way to move to the beginning and end of the line you are reading? For example, if I want to copy a whole line, I would like to be able to push a key to jump to the first character, press mark, press another key to get to the last character on the line, then press cut.
