Bad review keys behavior in words with accented characters

Dear, the numpad 4 and 6 keys doesn't read previous and next words as
they should when such words contain accented characters, e.g.,
characters used in foreign languages, even though standard arrows make
the synthesiser read such words and letters correctly. To reproduce the
bug, open the nano editor and type the following portuguese words in
sequence, then try to navigate with numpad 4, 5 and 6:
você água ética nações

I'm using ArchLinux kernel 3.0 lts, with locale set to pt_BR.utf8.

Thanks
Cleverson
