Hi all,

apologies for the off topic post. I've been banging my head on this
for a while now, and am really hoping someone here could tell me where
I'm messing up.

What I'm wanting is very simple, ip6tables rules which would permit
neighbor solicitations to come in, and router advertisements to go
out. What I have to do this is:

ip6tables -A INPUT -d ff02::/16 -j ACCEPT
ip6tables -A OUTPUT -s fe80::/16 -j ACCEPT

It doesn't work though. I can see router advertisements going out when
running tcpdump on the machine running radvd, and neighbor
solicitations going out when running tcpdump on the client system, but
that's it.

If someone could please point me in a better direction, it would be
much appreciated, and thanks in advance.

Greg
