speakup in proprietary systems?

Hello:
I had a quick question. I had a really good idea, which would kind of 
require I use Speakup. I'm curious how the Icon folks can use Speakup in 
they're selling it. Doesn't the GPL prohibit selling of the software if 
the source is not available?
