That's very interesting, Steve, I may be able to get a windows user to
do that for me from within Windows 7.  I was fully prepared to handle the
case of resizing a single partition using only Linux command line tools,
but if Windows 7 can do the entire job, all the better.

The idea of virtualizing the two OS's is more of a chanllenge for me
than I need at the moment, although it makes a lot of sense.  Once upon
a time I'd have tackled it eagerly, but ...
