Installing arch linux on an Acer Aspire One?

Replying to my own message...
Got some eyes and found that everything was working, just the volume was set to zero on the Speaker device... Had them turn up the volume and all seems to be working...
Is the default ALSA volmume 0 for the Speaker device in the iso image? Doesn't seem right, since there is no speech on booting fromthe iso. You have to get sighted help to adjust the volume.
Perhaps just an anomaly in my setup?
