Greetings.

To turns speakup off:
  echo 7 > /sys/accessibility/speakup/silent
But 5 works too..

To turn it back on again:
  echo 4 > /sys/accessibility/speakup/silent
But 6 works too..

What's the difference between 5 and 7, or between 4 and 6 ?
>From the source it seems to call something to do with "flush",
but what does that do ?

And is this the recommended way to turn speakup off and on ?

Regards, Peter Billam
