I'm on a laptop, but I believe there is something similar. Will speakup automatically announce the indent level? having to hit f8 on every line is rather inconveniant.

Aside from the long explaination, it seems when I turn down the volume on the media player, the master volume goes down, too. Is there a way to make it where they have separate volume settings so that it won't affect speakup?
