Newsgroups: gmane.linux.kernel.speakup

Gmane is nice. It carries a lot of mailinglists in the form of newsgroups
and you can read and post as if it was a newsgroup. As far as I know it
is written by Lars M. I. who was for a long time the main author of Gnus
(the emacs mail and news program). It is easy to suggest other mailing lists
and as far as I know they do not delete old messages (other then spam).

Together with Gnus this is a very good option to read mailinglists in
text mode.
