possible bug in latest git

Hi.  I just upgraded to the latest git which seems to be from December
7th -- ast log entry.  It looks like there is a regression -- if I am on
a blank space to the right of a word, and I pressed the center key, it
used to give me the word to the left and now it is silent.  It would be
nice if the previous behavior wasrestored.

I am using 2.6.30-gentoo-r4.
