32 megs is a challenge for sure.  Surprisingly enough, I've been able
to do quite a bit with it so far.  I've had Slackware up to Version
12.0 running with software speech, espeak, wireless LAN and all and
all for a machine with so little RAM and a 266 MHz processor,  I'm
pleasantly surprised at the performance.  I got the thing for free
from a nephew of mine a year or two ago and as long as I don't try to
compile big programs like the kernel or mplayer, all is pretty good.
I obviously would not consider running any X stuff at all but for a
console device, there's still some life in it.  I was just sadly
disappointed I couldn't get Deb started on it but maybe that's the
limit.  I can keep going with Slackware on it though for now.

As far as sysresccd goes, I guess I'll just havt to give it a try.
I've always wanted to but hadn't gotten around to it yet.
