programs that work good with speakup

I didn't use winecfg to configure wine. Somehow I just installed it via
aptitude and it just started working. I actually had my daughter's
CD-ROM in my computer trying to figure out how I was going to make it
work. Of course, Nautilus said it couldn't run the executable file. So I
ran

sudo aptitude install wine

and then when I tried again to run the file it just started working. No
fuss, it just worked, which is much better than what I expected.
