a question about distro size?

Hi.

I think you mean Redhat when you say "full server".  On my Debian box running a complete Gnome desktop,
I use around 4 Gig of disk space.  If I remember Ubuntu desktop also uses around 4 Gig.
Can't say for any other distros.  I'm sure users of those distros will jump in and answer.
