Emacs or Vim - how close to a word processor can it get?

I am sure this is not beyond emacs. There are so many things for emacs
already, you may find something which already does what you need and
just needs a dictionary of what you wish it to use if they aren't
already in it.

I don't know about vim, but I don't get on with that so well.
