Just installed FC8

Hi all,
I have just installed Fedora Core 8 using BRLTTY. But maybe someone on this list can help me out wiht this problem.
The installation went well and at the end I did:
cd /mnt/sysimage
chroot .
/sbin/chkconfig firstboot off
I then rebooted the machine and I was then placed in a text console. How do I access the Gnome logon consoll? I tried pressing alt-f7 but it didn't seem to bring up the graphical logon.
Any help would be apreciated, many thanks!
